No-So-Random Quote: Benjamin Franklin

"A Bible and a newspaper in every house,a good school in every district -all
studied and appreciated as they merit -are the principle support of virtue,
morality, and civil liberty."

-- Benjamin Franklin -- (1706-1790)

You have to stop and wonder how this nation would be different if this simple application was made to life. However, just because every home might lack these things to some extent... it does not give us an excuse to lack them in our own homes. We have the right to choose. And Basically along those lines knowledge is power. But Mr. Franklin tied in not only the human/physical but also the spiritual/immaterial... and that by far empowers one on such a larger basis. One in which "It is not I, but Christ who lives within me..." What great immeasurable strength, power, and wisdom... seldom used to the fullness that God could bestow upon us, if only we see our need and our weakness within ourselves and trust/rely/depend on God and God alone.

If "WE"... would do that... this nation would be different, way different... it would be so much more hostile to "US"... because we are not like "THEM"...

May Christ be seen in me... and may I reflect Him in the way He intends, deserves, requires... so that others might know Him... and Mr. Franklin was right on... that begins at home.

so... I heard. but as you probably know I had already kinda guessed. I think i ruined it for Sarah. She wanted to tell me. But now I have the whole story. Very beautiful. Good Job.

I was hoping to make it down in January but it's all kinda up in the air... but maybe I'll see you then. Take care and Congrats.
